Leslie Lesher, CSA - President of After55.com
Leslie Lesher is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® and President/Founding Partner of After55 Media Group and The Digital Magazeen Rack™. Following a seventeen year career in the Semiconductor Industry, Leslie founded After55 Media Group after caring for her parents as a long distance caregiver. Following this experience, which ended with the passing of her parents, came the realization there was no single comprehensive online source of information utilizing interactive multimedia for aging adults and their families, especially for out-of-state children and loved ones. “I found caring for my parents to be the most rewarding experience I have ever been through. The only difficulty was not knowing where to look for information. I live in Arizona and my parents lived in rural Pennsylvania. I struggled trying to find information online about things such as home care and assisted living choices for my parents. I want all aging adults and their families to be active and to celebrate life. What makes this possible is knowing what we have access to in the way of information and help. Aging is not the end of life but rather a life stage. During this stage of our lives we can create the life we want when we have access to information and know our options. I have two great passions, seniors and books. Being able to merge and share my passions is the greatest gift I can have in life”.

Florence Minton, CSA - Technology and Development Officer for After55.com
Florence Minton is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® and the Technology and Development Officer/Founding Partner of After55 Media Group and The Digital Magazeen Rack™. She spent 24 years in the telecommunications industry and helped start After55 Media Group after going through the difficult challenge of long distance caregiving and her father's subsequent passing. As a resident of Arizona, Flo unexpectedly faced the challenge of trying to help her mother in Florida care for her father, who was disabled by a stroke and a prolonged battle with leukemia.

"The toughest part was trying to find useful and accurate information about services in a part of the country where I had no local knowledge or reliable contacts. I couldn't just jump on a plane and fly to Florida every time my mom had difficulty finding home care, medical equiment and other things my father needed. I assumed when I went online that I could do a search and get all the information I needed for her part of Florida in one place, but that was not the case. Even when I flew to Florida it did not get any easier. When my mom needed information about local services, I was very frustrated when I went to the local pharmacy or supermarket looking for a printed senior resource guide and they were all gone. I realized there was a need for out-of-town family members and long distance caregivers to have 24 hour access to up-to-date information that they could see, share and save with other family members on demand."
